OK... what is Log Inn at Lucketts?

12 May:  Closed for evening: Family&personal issues required multiple staff to take off, leaving only the owner with 1 to 3 untrained staff available.  Since our first two priorities are food quality and speed, despite our best efforts we would not have been able to meet our normal standards with only a training crew on a busy Saturday night. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is a trade between making our customers unhappy with less than standard performance or not being open.  I can not leave a sign on the lot explaining this because the county has directed me not to leave signs behind when we remove the trailer.

We will be open Mother day, 13 May. There will be a rib special later in the week.

The owners of Lucketts.net are opening a restaurant in Lucketts.  We will serve pizza, ribs, subs, sandwiches, steak, BBQ, pasta and anything else that strikes our fancy.  Takeout will be supported, and we'll probably deliver as well. Limited food service from our mobile kitchen has already started, with the actual restaurant to be completed early next year.  County zoning approval is going very slow. This is just a temporary web page we're using to get the word out - full online ordering will be available.

Our menu is a sample of what we will have in the future restaurant. We are not a fast-food trailer and we do not use heat lamps to keep pre-prepared dishes warm. We prepare each order on the spot like a real restaurant. Ribs and pizza take 15+ minutes, Wings take 10 minutes, other dishes are faster but still take a few minutes.  Call ahead to have it ready when you arrive (855-LOGINN-1 - 855.564.4661) or plan on shopping for a few minutes at the "On a Whim" antique store next door.

We're still working on the design of the future building, but we intend for it to look something like this:

Until the building is ready, we'll be running our kitchen from a trailer customized to be a full commercial kitchen. There will not be a dining room at first, but we will come up with an eat in option as soon as we get county approval. Pictures of the trailer under construction can be found at this link.  The menu at the trailer will contain the items from our final restaurant menu that work best as take-out. We will post a copy of the current menu ASAP.

The current plan is:

14 April 2012  - Re-open Trailer service at Rt 15 and Spinks Ferry.

The construction schedule is still up in the air as we work on a solution with the county that allows enough seats to make a viable restaurant.

We will need staff:  wait, cooks, bus, and managers.  We are now accepting applications now for full and part time work starting in April 2012. If you are interested, send an mail to steve@loginnlucketts.com.
